MyMe Beauty

Art Direction | Branding & Identity | Packaging | Digital

MyMe Beauty began as a simple idea to combat single-use cotton pads, that are thrown away every single day and account for tonnes of waste in the beauty industry. Having worked in the beauty sector for some time, I took an interest in this space and started building a brand of my own.

I began developing the product working with a manufacturer based in China. Through various testing of different materials and eco-products, I finally created the perfect product bundle. I moved on to designing the branding, dentity, packaging and digital ebook, before building out the Amazon store, (which is the main sales channel), website and social media. I art directed the product and lifestyle shoot working alongside London based photographer Charlie Chichester, to deliver beautiful imagery that fitted the brand and communicated the benefits of the product.

The final product is the MyMe Beauty Kit. It includes 21 luxury reusable makeup pads, a reusable laundry bag, a bamboo charcoal Konjac sponge and a Zero Waste ebook. The product is available to purchase on the Amazon UK marketplace, as well as through the website.

Social Media

MyMe Beauty social media aims to communicate the product and its different uses. Not only that, but it’s also a space to learn how to improve your beauty regime by educating their audience with different beauty techniques. These range from simple tips and tricks, like how to keep your equipment clean, to what natural products you can use to improve your skin and overall complexion. Also included are customer reviews to add strength to the brand, showing that the product works and is solving a problem - helping people reduce waste and improving their skin regime.

Amazon listing images communicate the key product benefits. A combination of infographics
and strong imagery add for maximum standout on the search page and product listing.
